Paige Brocidiacono
Program Developer, SOAR-AIR and SOAR-MARINE
————
Paige Brocidiacono is advancing the global observing capacity for climate data as Program Developer for SilverLining's SOAR-Air and SOAR-Marine programs. Previously, she worked with Spark Climate Solutions, a non-profit supporting high-impact emerging climate fields, where she helped build the field of atmospheric methane removal. At Spark, Paige contributed across scientific roadmapping, grant-making and research community development.
Before Spark, Paige co-founded and served as CEO of WindBorne Systems, a startup improving in-situ atmospheric sensing and weather forecast accuracy with a network of low-cost, controllable balloons. In collaborations with NOAA, the US Office of Naval Research, and the US Air Force, she coordinated field deployments of balloons around the world, including for the THINICE Arctic Cyclone campaign and the Global Atmospheric River Reconnaissance. Her work at WindBorne earned her the Thiel Fellowship and Forbes 30 under 30 in Science. She holds a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
